NAMPA, Idaho (Sept. 27) – Central Washington University senior 
HADLI FARRAND scored the game winning goal for the women's soccer team with just one second remaining in overtime to give the Wildcats a 3-2 come from behind victory over Northwest Nazarene Saturday afternoon. 
The Wildcats now sit at 3-5, 2-2 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.  Northwest Nazarene falls to 2-3-3, 1-2-1 in the GNAC. 
After a late foul by NNU in the second overtime period, 
HADLI FARRAND took a rebounded shot and scored the game-winning goal with one second remaining in the contest. 
"I am tremendously proud of our girls for coming back from being down early," CWU Head Coach 
Michael Farrand said. "Couldn't have scripted a better ending, and I am still stunned by what just took place." 
The Wildcats fell into a 0-2 hole early in the first half as the Crusaders scored their first goal nine minutes into the contest followed by their second less than 20 minutes later. 
In the 39
th minute the Wildcat responded as 
HADLI FARRAND passed to 
LAUREN DUTY, setting her up for a one-on-one opportunity that she took full advantage of, beating the NNU goalie to score her first goal of the season. 
The Central Washington offense was aggressive in the first half.  Despite out shooting their opponent 8-6 in the first half with twice as many corner kicks, they still found themselves trailing 2-1 at the half. 
The Wildcat offense continued its pursuit of scoring an equalizing goal in the second half unleashing shot after shot on NNU goalkeeper Daniele Ortiz.  It paid dividends in the 80
th minute when 
HADLI FARRAND scored on a pass from 
MACKENZIE NOLTE to tie the match at 2-2 and force overtime. 
"We were ready for overtime," Farrand explained. "We had a great second half and we had momentum on our side heading into the extra time."
The majority of the 20 minute overtime was uneventful, until the final seconds when 
HADLI FARRAND scored her second goal of the game with just one second left on the clock, lifting the Wildcats to 3-2 come from behind victory over NNU. 
Central Washington outshot the Crusaders 29-23, with 18 shots on goal to just seven for NNU. 
The goals were 
HADLI FARRAND's second and third of the season, and she was credited with her second assist of the season. 
Next up the Wildcats travel to Seattle Pacific to face off with the Falcons on Oct. 2 at 7 P.M.
